THE BIG PICTURE The most important word of the day is "Welcome." Welcome to this, the premiere issue of Incredible Photography. If you love dynamic pictures, if you're interested in the world around you, if you love a good story (our motto is "Every picture tells a story," and we have some great "stories" to tell you!), this magazine is for you. We live in a visual world. The majority of people are visually oriented—they relate more to what they see than what they hear, learn better from seeing or reading than from listening, remember better what they see than what they hear. And we live in very visual times. Think television, movies, VCRs and DVDs—all visual media and part of most people’s everyday lives. No wonder the venerable maxim holds that "A picture is worth a thousand words." We hope you'll find our articles informative, our profiles interesting, and our advertisers of interest.
